I must say, I am disappointed. The food at the buffet was barely sufficient for the amount of guests. The breakfast was a disaster, roast potatoes were labeled French Toast!!! There was no egg option on both days. The staff was clearly overwhelmed. It felt chaotic.

The grounds boast a inviting pool and well kept gardens. the staff was friendly. They ensured every need was met with genuine care. I enjoyed the kottu corner. It offered a delicious taste of local cuisine with perfect flavor. The bunkers with wartime history are now an interesting gallery space. It includes local art and history.
The room lacked a desk. It also needed a proper chair for laptop work, less suitable for business travelers. i had to walk a bit inside. It made access less convenient during inclement weather.

The heritage room i booked was not what i expected. it felt overpriced , especially since it lacked windows and had plain concrete walls. the half-board food options were also disappointing . The meals felt cheap and repetitive , often running out of prawns early.

Really good Boutique Hotel Experience

This hotel features lunch manicured gardens and a wonderfully refreshing pool. Colonial buildings add to the charm. The buffet dinner was really good. It was the best I had in ten days. Dining in the garden provided a joyful experience. I found the receptionist kind and attentive. He brought a plate of deviled chicken to my table.
I found the heritage rooms to be quite noisy due to wedding photos taken outside early in the morning. This disturbance detracted slightly from the otherwise excellent stay.

The pool was amazing. I appreciated its pristine condition. the staff were also amazing, and i could see they supported the local community. they gave hospitality management lessons to local students.

Really good Staff and Beautiful Grounds

The grounds were fine. Scotty and Amit accommodated us well, arranged French toast and pancakes for the kids' breakfast. Rooms overlooking the swimming pool were close to the dining area and were very clean.
The rooms looked a bit worn in some spots. It would be beneficial to address this minor issue.
